Funeral services for Albert A. SWINDLER were held Saturday afternoon at Bright Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, Rev. Paul E. Million, pastor of First Christian Church, officiated. Serving as pallbearers were Oscar Moody and Dennis of Waveland; Jesse Hultz, John Hultz; George A. Burns and DC Graham, Crawfordsville. Curtis E. Bright played organ selections at the beginning and close of the services. Burial in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Swindler, 90, died Thursday at Liter Funeral Home.

Albert A. Swindler, 90, 211 W. College St, died at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Liter Nursing Home where he had been a patient for the last 3 months. Born March 18, 1866, he was the son of William and Sally Ann Hulse Swindler. On May 10, 1921, he married AManda Carter, whop receded him in death July 24, 1933. He was married to Verna Carter, a niece of his first wife in St. Louis on March 25, 1939. She preceded him in death, April 15, 1950. Mr. Swindler lost his eyesight at the age of 19 and was graduated from the Indiana School for the Blind in Indianapolis in 1892. He was a piano tuner for aobut 25 years and took charge of his father's farm after the latter's death. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Crawfordsville. He helped build the Christian Church in Browns Valley in 1919-20. There are no immediate survivors. He was preceded in death by a sister, Miss Martha Lou Swindler in 1912. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Paul E. Million, pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday.
